About the Artist/Athlete…
Currently a competitive masters runner who regularly logs 50 and 60 mile weeks, Kevin began as a cyclist back in the 1970’s. Now, training just around the corner from
Encinitas
,
CA
, he is regularly inspired by some of Triathlon’s most notable figures who have moved there for year-round training. Kevin Prochaska is also an accomplished artisan whose work appears throughout the world.  His original sculptures have been awarded to celebrities to honor their achievements, appeared in major
Hollywood
film productions, and adorned the Christmas tree at the White House.
The Triathlete…
this piece is truly a labor of love.  Attempting to meld together a feeling of speed, power and fluid motion with the beauty and grace of the female form, Kevin has created this sculpture.  With her aerodynamic position on the bike, elbows neatly tucked inside, the artist hopes this wonderful portrayal captures the spirit and form of the female triathlete. Sculpture is personally signed by the artist.
Figurine measures approximately 6 inches long and 5 inches tall and is made entirely by hand of borosilicate crystal.
