This listing is for a water slide decal.
I am selling it as a collectible to frame or put in a scrap book. I would not recommend trying to mount it to your vehicle- Because it is almost 80 years old, I can't guarantee it will work as a decal. Sold AS-IS.

inches by 3.5" .
Front has the Mobil Pegasus logo.
"Safety - Seal" was copyrighted in 1944 by Dan Tattenham and this decal was Printed by Smith-Martin of Los Angeles.

Some History
on Federal Motor Vehicle Use Tax Stamps --  US revenue stamps for the motor vehicle use tax were used from February 1942 through June 1946.  During World War II, there were serious wartime shortages, including gasoline.  The US government imposed the motor vehicle use tax to encourage people to use public transportation and to help pay for the war effort.
