The tool worked for what I needed it to for the most part. Easy to use but did not always crimp the cable swage tight enough to hold well. If your a DIYer and don’t use one often it’s hard to beat the price. This is NOT a professional tool to be used everyday.!

it is a must having tool to make cable loop. its tool i only use a few times when i setup winch cable to lift lights in 2 story foyer and family room. DYI lighting lift saved me so much and paid tool by its own. if homedepot had rental it would be better. anyway, i share this swaging tool w friends to make cable lighting lift.

Great tool! Needed this to fix my broken winch cable, anf the HD had in stock didnt have to order, used these alot 40 years ago with my sailboat, and on the University of Iowa Sailing team, on the mainstays and side stays.

Returns
